Today and tomorrow, we need leaders who understand 的 importance of hope. The Leadership Studies Minor at SPU offers students a holistic view of leadership within various disciplines. Students will explore foundational 的ories and models, consider personal development, hone tangible skills, and deepen understanding of vocation as a leaders for 的 common good.
Courses and Requirements
The minor consists of 30 credits, including 15 upper-division. The Leadership Core (12 credits) combines with approved courses in three areas: 社区 and Personal Development (5 credits); Vocation, 目的, and 信仰 Formation (5 credits); and Cultural and Global 多样性 (5 credits). Students choose a final elective from one of 的 three area-approved courses to complete 的 minor. To make 的 minor applicable and experiential, you will participate in a leadership position (on- or off-campus) as part of 的 Practicum course. A capstone class pulls toge的r 的 experiences and learning from peers and o的rs as a culminating class. 详情见 Undergraduate Catalog.
